Michael MacNutt
B.Sc.PT, B.B.A, Dip. Manip., FCAMT
Michael completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2000 and has since been working in private practice. His post graduate education includes the completion of an advanced diploma in manual and manipulative therapy achieving the level of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He furthered his post graduate experience by completing courses in Acupuncture, Sahrmann Motor Control, Kinetic Control, Mulligan concepts, Fit Fore Golf, Running injuries and Core Stabilization. He also volunteered with the sports medicine program at Saint Mary’s University and is on the Executive Board of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
Michael’s approach is to work one on one with a patient in order to develop an individualized treatment plan with the goal of returning the person to their pre-injury state. He believes that hands on treatment and specific exercise programs are essential in achieving these goals.
Craig Rigby
B.Sc.PT, B.A., Dip. Manip., FCAMT
Craig is a graduate of the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy and has been treating in private practice since 2000. His post graduate education includes the completion of an advanced diploma in manual and manipulative physiotherapy, achieving the level of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He is trained in acupuncture, spinal and peripheral manipulation, motor vehicle injury rehabilitation, sport injury rehabilitation and more. When not at the clinic, he spends time at Dalhousie University helping train Physiotherapy students.
Craig enjoys helping the community maintain and improve their physical well being through an active, client centered, hands on approach to treatment.
Andrew White
B.P.E., B.Sc.PT, RCAMT
Andrew graduated in 2004 with his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Since that time he has been working in private practice. His post graduate education includes completion of the intermediate diploma in manual and manipulative therapy. He has also completed courses in: Mulligan concepts, Running injuries, Explain Pain, and Acupuncture. He plans on completing the advanced diploma in manual and manipulative therapy in the fall of 2011. He has volunteered his services at several local, national and international sporting events. Outside of work, Andrew is involved in the community as a football official and various not for profit associations.
Andrew’s approach to physiotherapy is to work with a patient to identify the cause of their pain or dysfunction and to come up with a patient specific plan to reach their individual goals. He feels that a combination of manual therapy (hands on treatment) and specific exercises are necessary to achieve these goals.
Niki Peterson
BscPT, BScKin
Niki graduated in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Since that time she has been working in private practice. Her post graduate education includes completion of the intermediate diploma in manual and manipulative therapy. Furthermore, she has successfully completed courses in Mulligan concepts, McKenzie concepts, and Acupuncture and plans to complete the advanced diploma in manual and manipulative therapy in the fall of 2012. She has also volunteered her services at many athletic events while working at the University of PEI as head physiotherapist for teams including soccer, basketball and hockey.
Professionally, Niki's goal is to provide the community with quality physiotherapy care through proper diagnosis, specific exercise and hands on treatment meanwhile promoting healthy active living.
